Purpose •to provide doctoral students and researchers with the opportunity to explore critically the concept of practice in relation to cultural-historical theory
•to consider theoretical and methodological consequences that arise when this concept is given a central place in research conceptualizations
•to confront implications of these ideas in relation to ongoing research projects
