We are preparing for a future where circular business models and sustainable products will outcompete existing ones, and an inevitable transformation is just around the corner. The conference focuses on how we in the lifestyle and design industry in both fashion and furniture, can rethink with both new sustainable materials, production techniques and business models, and challenge the industry as we know it today. The vision of this conference is to contribute and share the latest knowledge about new materials and production methods for a sustainable future in the lifestyle and design industry and at the same time contribute to strengthening relations in the industry through networks between institutions, students and business. Experience a live conference with talks, debates, workshops, exhibitions and plenty of opportunities for networking. Meet researchers, product developers, manufacturers, designers, architects, young entrepreneurs, students and many others with an interest in the lifestyle and design industry. It will be two exciting days with the opportunity to choose to and from in a tightly packed program. New Materials and technologies often lead to new business models, which is why there is good synergy in sharing knowledge and experiences across the Lifestyle and Design Cluster project portfolio. Specifically, the conference is a collaboration between two of Lifestyle & Design Cluster's projects, Material Hub and Let’s Get Started. Both projects with special focus on all Lifestyle and Design Cluster's professional areas of interest within fashion, furniture, circular economy and entrepreneurship. The conference is an activity in the Lifestyle and Design Cluster and is co-financed by the Danish Agency for Education and Research.
