Research Area for Pedagogy and Bildung
We contribute to the development of knowledge on pedagogy, self-cultivation, pedagogical tact, education, culture, social work and guidance.
We provide an understanding and qualification of professional educational programmes as well as the current challenges facing those professions.
We develop knowledge that can qualify the professional practitioner’s practice and develop their identity as well as their awareness and handling of challenges that the professional practitioner must constantly address.
Our focus is on lifelong learning as well as the qualification of children and adolescents’ education, learning and wellbeing in and across institutions, schools, leisure time and home.
