The research profile and interests in Program for Professional Education and Professional Guidance - in short:

Professional education and professional guidance are fields with many stakeholders. The approach in the research program is eksploratory and dialogic - with a critical, constructive and analytical approach to educations and professions. The research in the program is with a broad range of designs and methods, however mainly with qualitative and participatory approaches. The researchers contribute to professional close-to-practice research in a range of projects. Cooperation with (professional) educators, students and professional practitioners is prioritized, and likewise we emphasise a knowledge-flow involving the professional educations, further education and the educational academy in VIA.
