Research Programme for Health Technology, Methodology Development and Ethics is a part of Research Centre for Citizen and Society Studies.
The Research Programme for Health Technology, Methodology Development and Ethics examines the relationship between health and welfare technology in practice.
We analyse ethical, methodological and societal implications of existing and emerging health and welfare technologies, such as social robotics, virtual reality, and various kinds of diagnostic and personalized solutions. We cooperate closely with health professionals, national and international knowledge institutions, businesses and citizens.
Our field of expertise:
- Ethics, genetics and bioanalytics
- Telepresence systems, social robotics, artificial intelligence and ethics
- Simulation in cross-disciplinary learning environments
- Ageing, welfare technology and ethics
- Human-technology interaction
The Research Programme is headed by Senior Associate Professor, PhD Karin Christiansen.
