Research Programme for Society and Diversity

The research programme for society and diversity examines and rethinks the professional welfare prevention of exclusion, discrimination and inequality.

Research areas

Our selected research areas include:

  • Norm criticism and norm creativity in educational practice
  • Racism in the welfare professions
  • Prevention of radicalisation and extremism
  • Integration and temporary residence permits
  • Integration policy and the creation of migrants' homes
  • Multicultural schools
  • Diversity formation

How we work

We ask critical-constructive questions about and with the professional practice.

Therefore, we often involve target groups, professionals, NGOs, administrations and decision-makers in our projects in order to include different perspectives in the development of socially sustainable solutions.

The Research Programme is part of Research Centre for Society, Technology and Management. The Research Programme is headed by Simon Nørgaard Iversen.
