SCIENTIFIC FOCUS AREAS
The main focus of my research is dementia related topics. Dementia-friendliness as a term has been one of my interests during my research career and within this, dementia friendly hospitals. Further, living well with dementia from different perspectives and through various angles is a scientific focus area for my research. I have approached the area from quantitative and qualitative scientific approaches in various research projects.
Another focus area in my research is transitions between theoretical and clinical studies in nursing education programs. As a co-researcher I am co-leading an action-based research project focusing on how communities of reflection across sectors as an approach can enhance knowledge transfer and strengthen nursing students’ learning outcome.
OTHER SCIENTIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
I have published four peer-reviewed papers in scientific journals. H index 3, 17 citations. I am co-authoring three book chapters that are currently in press.
