Since 2001, I have carried out research and management within the field of health and social work.
I am trained as an anthropologist and wrote a Ph.D. on interaction between care staff and patients in forensic psychiatry back in 2006.
Since then I have worked with vulnerability among both children and adults in different ways. I have worked with user involvement, child involvement, school well-being and school absenteeism, virtual teaching opportunities for children with high school absenteeism and efforts for the children and young people who need help from healthcare professionals, from psychologists, from child and youth psychiatry or the social authorities. I am currently the Head of Research and Development at the Department of Social Work
Competences
Research: My own research competencies are qualitative. I have participated in a range of interdisciplinary complex intervention studies, my contribution mostly being the perspectives of users, interplays between professionals and users of welfare services, and organisational facilitators and barriers for succesful implementation of new technologies or interventions.
Management: I am an experienced manager of research, education and development. Currently I lead our research community for applied research in social work at the Department of Social Work.
