I am employed at the Department of Applied Health Research at UCL University College, where I lead the research programme Health, Rehabilitation and Ageing. My work is characterised by research approaches grounded in user involvement and co-creation.

In addition, I am affiliated with the Occupational Therapy programme at UCL as a lecturer and supervisor, and I serve as a guest researcher at the Geriatric Research Unit, Department of Clinical Research, University of Southern Denmark.

My research areas include ageing, dementia and rehabilitation, community-based healthcare, and occupational science.

I also have many years of experience teaching occupational science and occupational therapy and have worked as a professional consultant and project manager in a range of practice-oriented development projects. Furthermore, I have authored both popular science and scientific articles and have edited and contributed to a number of professional books.
