Personal profile

Presentation

I am a criminologist and social worker with several years of experience in substance use treatment and social work, with a particular focus on crime prevention, social marginalization, and interdisciplinary interventions.

Currently, I hold a position as Assistant professor at the Social Work at UCL Professionshøjskole og erhvervsakadimi and have previously served as a part-time in the Social education at UCL aswell. I teach subjects including social social problems, social work with vulnerable adults and adults with disabilities, culture, and issues related to crime or drugs. I am deeply passionate about sharing and challenge my knowledge and experience with future professionals. For me, teaching is a way to contribute to academic development and civic engagement among students who will be working at the intersection of individual needs and systemic structures.

My practical experience spans authority casework, substance use treatment, project-based work, and cross-sectoral collaboration. I have also worked as a research intern and student assistant at the Centre for Alcohol and Drug Research, contributing to both qualitative and quantitative research projects and analyses (including work with NVivo and STATA).
