PhD and Associate Professor, Cand. Mag. in Educational Psychology , and researcher in the research environment Special Education and Vulnerability in Children and Youth. Areas of focus include children's well-being, methods for identifying and supporting children in distress, as well as developing and implementing interdisciplinary strategies that promote well-being and prevent vulnerability among children and youth. Trained as a process and team coach from Roskilde University. Employed at University College Absalon since 2009, teaching psychology and special education in the teacher education program.

Research on well-being is central, with participation in projects such as "Children and Youth Across Contexts," "Children and Youth on Lolland," and a research project on the transition from 3rd to 4th grade, which examines and supports children's well-being and learning. Early preventive measures and the identification of children in vulnerable positions have been significant focus areas. Previously employed as a research assistant at AKF (now VIVE), contributing to research projects on social prevention.

Former member of an advisory expert group for the Danish Social Welfare Agency’s project "Further Development of the Identification Model," led by Jill Mehlbye from VIVE. Professional interests include initiatives for vulnerable children and youth, as well as interdisciplinary collaboration across sectors.

Publications include "12-talspigerne – præstationskulturens nye generation af piger?" by Jill Mehlbye, published in Unge Pædagoger, as well as "Love and Pedagogy," "Teachers' Investigative Methods," and "Children's Emotional Work."
