I am a Ph.D. and associate lecturer, with a masters degree in Learning and Learning Processes, and former elite athlete. I have taught in the Sports programme at Aalborg University, at both bachelor and master levels, within the field of Humanities and practical courses. I am also an experienced student project counsellor in several programmes, and have supervised student-development-talks. I research i the inclusion of movement activities in cross-curricular subjects such as science within Primary education, and consider how movement is conceptualised, integrated and made meaningful. 

Special interest areas

Pedagogic and didactic interest in how movement is integrated in cross-curricular subjects in Primary education, how movement affects learning environments, as well as how students experience these types of learning activities/ learning environments.

The role and opportunities of pedagogues in early childhood educationi. In particular how pedagogues can support and assist teachers working with movement activities, to enable more supprotive learning environments

Filosophically specialised within phenomenology and existentialism, in particular areas such as senses, subjectivity, perception and emotion as viewed from a pedagogical and cultural perspective.
