Personal profile


I have several years of experience with research and development within IT in teaching and pedagogy, and I am involved in research and development projects nationally and internationally. I have, among other things, been involved in projects that have examined; children and young people's online behaviour (CyGen), design processes in Makerspaces in education, online learning and learning designs. I have wide experience in developing and coordinating online and blended learning. In Social Education and further education, I teach in the areas of digital literacy and media pedagogy. In connection with my association with the Social Education in Horsens, I am Makerspace coordinator.

Research and development areas

My research and development work focus on the use of digital technologies in learning and teaching; including design thinking, digital fabrication, learning designs, online and blended learning.

Currently I am studying Makerspace settings in higher education and primary schools. My research focus is based on the role of trainers and the didactic framework in the digital fabrication design process. In addition, I am part of an Erasmus+ project which develops and examines online education in further education.
