Research and development areas
I work with practice-based research and development at the intersection of professional formation, educational entrepreneurship, and personal leadership. My focus is on developing and exploring how professional education programmes can function as learning and action-oriented communities where students and educators cultivate professional identity, judgement, and agency in response to contemporary societal challenges.
My work spans teaching, educational development, strategic concept development, process facilitation, and cross-sectoral development projects. I have contributed to the development and facilitation of BlussetX as an experimental platform for professional formation and entrepreneurial education, where new forms of learning, democratic participation, and practice-based experimentation are designed, facilitated, and examined in close connection with professional and welfare education contexts.
Methodologically, I work with facilitated development processes, experimental learning designs, and collaborative approaches aligned with practice-based research, action-oriented methodologies, and entrepreneurship education. I am particularly interested in personal leadership as a core dimension of professional formation, and in understanding entrepreneurship as a pedagogical approach that strengthens responsibility, courage, and meaning-making among future professionals.
Through collaboration with municipalities, civil society organisations, and educational and innovation stakeholders, I have contributed to externally funded development projects, knowledge generation, and strong student outcomes. Overall, my work aims to strengthen professional education institutions as active contributors to sustainable, democratic, and socially responsible societal development.
