Personal profile

Research and development areas

I am currently enrolled in the second semester of the social work education and an elective module in International Social Work. I am also a supervisor for international interns and BA students.

My primary areas of interest and work are teaching in the basic education as well as practice-oriented research and (educational) development with a focus on social work with adults in vulnerable positions, in recent years with a particular focus on people experiencing homelessness and substance abuse, including urbanization, sustainability, financialization, and globalization. I am concerned with educating social workers who can participate in solving future social problems, where climate and sustainability are expected to be central dimensions in a holistic understanding of social justice, inclusion, discrimination and contribution to social change and development.
