Research and development areas

In my research I am interested in Bildung and the concept of Bildung and how it philosophically and theoretically can be integrated with other pedagogical and sociological theories. Similarly, I am interested in the concept of Bildung's socio-cultural determinations and Bildung's contribution to the development of active democratic citizenship. In my research I therefore develop on the relationship between Bildung and social justice and emancipation, I address questions relating to diversity, equality and inequality and examines how different forms of injustice is produced and reproduced and how it can be challenged in an educational and pedagogical context. Likewise I am interested in the dialectical relationship between social and environmental sustainability and how this relation kan inform social movements struggle for social transformation.
