Animation Film and Media Literacy in Education, Insights of FAME, Take 1

Project Details

Founded in 1988 ECFA is the organisation for all who are interested in high quality films for children and young people: film-makers, producers, promoters, distributors, exhibitors, TV-programmers, festival organisers and film educators etc. ECFA has more than 125 members comprised of companies and organisations from 36 different countries.
An article was presented and published covering the conference FAME, TAKE 1 , where Animated Learning Lab contributed with its research and experience working with animation in schools within a contemplative education framework.

Key findings

The article is the process of an ongoing collaboration between international institutions. We need to promote and strength the international relationships in order to keep the continuity of animated workshops within education. The industry needs to work hand to hand with art schools to improve the dialog and use of audiovisual material, aswel as raise awareness of the impact of audiovisual content by the industry, artists and students.
