Treatment of water from compensation boreholes

Project Details

Description

Water from boreholes shall, if necessary, be discharged to the local stream at 4 locations to compensate for any potential lower flow in the stream as a result of extraction from a new well site. The water must be treated (for iron) before discharge. It is desired that the water treatment itself takes place at the discharge points to the stream without the use of electricity, so that raw water is pumped to the discharge location where the water treatment takes place. Additionally, it is desired that the facility is designed to ensure maintenance is practical for periodic operation.
