Cultural heritage: Issues of national identity, cultural tourism and education is a summer school initiative. The summer school is a BA-level course of 5 ECTS and is arranged by UCL in cooperation with The University of South Eastern Norway (USN). The summer school is open for all interested participants with formal educational qualifications but is especially suited for students or professionals in the fields of teacher/teacher education, pre-school education/pedagogy, tourism or cultural heritage who are interested in a cross-disciplinary approach to cultural heritage.
In summer 2020 and 2021 the Summer School takes place at UCL University College’s Campus in Jelling, Denmark, and i 2022 and 2023 is takes place at USN, campus Notodden with University og Turku and University of Silesia as partners.
The course is combined with e-learning activities before and after the stay in Jelling or Notodden.
