Project Details

Description

Cultural heritage: Issues of national identity, cultural tourism and education is a summer school initiative at UCL University College’s Campus in Jelling, Denmark, centered on a one-week summer school in the town of Jelling in August 2020 combined with e-learning activities before and after the stay in Jelling.
The summer school is a BA-level course of 5 ECTS and is arranged by UCL in cooperation with The University of South Eastern Norway (USN). The summer school is open for all interested participants with formal educational qualifications but is especially suited for students or professionals in the fields of teacher/teacher education, pre-school education/pedagogy, tourism or cultural heritage who are interested in a cross-disciplinary approach to cultural heritage, which uses the town of Jelling, and its institutions in Jelling as a hands-on real world case study.
