Expanded Animation LAB 2021 featured works of well-known artists including Uri and Michelle Kranot, Sophie Hjerl, and Christopher Ebeling, who each work with animation, narrative storytelling, and art in diverse and inspiring ways.

Expanded Animation (EA) is an effort to explore the nexus of culture and technology in pursuit of new artistic expression. The Expanded Animation LAB, as in years past, represented an exhibition setting for a wide range of projects that investigates the fields where art, animation and technology meets.
Expanded Animation LAB was a part of Viborg Animation Festival 2021, and took place at Tighallen, Viborg.
