Expanded Animation Stage 2020 exhibition

Project Details

Description

For Expanded Animation Stage 2020 The Animation Workshop, VIA UC has engaged German digital artist Oliver Latta, who presented yet undetermined collection of his provocative and non-conforming digital experiences in Viborg Museum, during the Viborg Animation Festival 2020.

Oliver is an Art Director and 3D Artist followed by more than 920 thousands followers on Instagram as extraweg. In his work, which is inspired by everyday situations, Oliver plays with humans and human body parts, animating them in unconventional ways and in situations that force the viewer to think. Oliver claims that human bodies are something everyone can relate to, but his presentation is often unnerving and can engender a wide range of emotions. Oliver has worked with high profile clients and partners such as Gorillaz, Fritz-Kola, MTV, YouTube, Seat, and Vogue.
