The project examines the Fridays for Future movement ethnographically, theoretically, and philosophically in an attempt to understand the youths' participation in the movement within a wider Bildung framework. The project seeks to explore what narratives of the future are in play among the participants and what these narratives can tell about the democratic agency of the participants and the formation of their democratic identity.
