The project promotes 3 basic factors to consider in journalism education today: The convergence of media; the relationship between universities and media outlets; and professional simulation.

Objectives and Content
The project aims at defining best practice "integrated journalism" by

Analyzing existing journalism educations in Europe
Interviewing editors, researchers and journalism teachers
Conducting literature reviews
We apply a broad definition of Integrated Journalism being a digital news platform integrating text, video, audio, photo and other elements.

Output
The research on European best practices will lead to a set of recommendations for the teaching of integrated journalism and on this basis to the development and testing of teaching materials and course modules.
