Obesity care with pharmacological interventions: a mixed-method study of regional treatment and patient perspectives in Denmark

This study aims to synthesise the experiences of GPs and patients undergoing semaglutide treatment, drawing on empirical knowledge from various regions in Denmark. Grounded in evidence-based practice, the study seeks to develop clinical guidelines for GPs that provide comprehensive support for managing obesity treatment with WLM. This includes considerations for patient selection, treatment duration, tapering, and follow-up, with the goal of improving the quality of obesity care.
