Description

A wealth of research is investigating the aspects of working in Global Virtual Teams (GVTs), and education programs, executive training and plenty of consultancy advice on a general level exist in order to secure success of GVTs. Success of GVTs is here defined as improved GVT output looking at team efficiency and effectiveness, as well as optimized team formation, communication, and cooperation.

The purpose of this project is therefore to carry out an action research project in order to
a) Secure successful preparation, implementation, and management of GVTs in a selected international company
b) Deduct best practices from the activities in relation to preparing, implementing and managing GVTs within the context of a particular organization.
