Description
A 20-minute animated opera and virtual reality experience that stages up to 11(tbc) opera singers performing an ode to Envy, on a stage while simultaneously in a virtual animated world where each performer is matched by a singing statue.
Songs of Envy is a declaration of love and acceptance for our less than perfect self that brings human nature to the audience through an ode to Envy.
With an unexpected match of animation, opera and technology paired with a unique use of storytelling Songs of Envy is a one of a kind visual concert that speaks to the eyes, feeds our ears.>
By placing viewers at the center of the experience, we give them a possibility to identify with statue/performers. In the metaworld they see the statues fighting, in the world, without the animation staging, they see humans singing. And with that connection, we hope to inspire empathy that translates to a larger metaphor.
