Abstract

This paper explores the difficulties that small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), students, and lecturers encounter when trying to adopt Industry 4.0 technologies. It highlights the need for practical education to prepare these groups for the digital shift. A cooperative learning method is proposed, using assembly line prototype models to provide hands-on experience. The paper also details a system that encompasses data collection, processing, and visualization to improve industrial processes. The central theme is the importance of integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application to ready all stakeholders for the digital future and assist SMEs in their digital transformation.
