Abstract
Delirium is an acute brain dysfunction and a common complication to illness in the geriatric populations. Delirium is - if not prevented, detected, and treated - associated with short and long-term consequences such as, loss of functions, cognitive decline, and death. Evidence regarding delirium prevention among nursing home residents is sparse.
