Abstract
In the didactical organization of adult pedagogy and teaching practices, digitalization grows more and more important and is of greater concern than earlier. At VIA, emphasized focus on digitalization in classroom organization has begun. Digital learning technologies of several types are now incorporated into class and course organization, opening up discussions about which types of support teachers need. This also raises concern about whether technology incorporation is made possible by simply gaining access to iPads or adding 'technological literacy' as subject matter.
In the workshop, we pursue an angle about the support of teachers based on the approach outlined in Lillians phD on "the potentials and challenges with incorporation of web 2.0 in a problem-based learning approach". In this workshop, we will present why we believe, the outlook on teacher support is important as well as what this can contribute to. At the same time, we will present a didactical design process, a way to work with integration of digital learning technologies within several domains of practice. The method is based on system development, collaborative learning and creative processes. At the workshop, participants will be introduced to this method via an exercise. Additionally, the workshop will initiate dialogue about how integration of technology is supported in your organization and how you see the role of the teacher in the integration of technology in teaching practices?
