Abstract

Background: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a condition that affects people´s ability to participate in everyday life occupations. Everyday technology and assistive technology can support people to engage in meaningful occupations. Occupational therapists need to be aware of how everyday technology and assistive technology can enhance occupational performance and participation for people with COPD.
