Abstract
Status Quo for elearning at the Danish university colleges (UC) has been investigated. The colleges have 12 years of experience, and during this period of time, knowledge about how to establish and deliver elearning that aims at including and unifying students in a collaborative learning endeavour has grown,
not only at the European level but also in the entire world.
In a Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) approach focus is on the establishment of learning processes, digital education, collaboration, dialogue, critical reflection and the establishment of Communities of Practice (CoPs).This paper aims to assess how and to what extent knowledge about CSCL permeates and qualifies the way the elearning practices in the UCs. The article suggests that the challenge to promote and qualify the use of elearning at University Colleges may be an organizational one.
