Abstract

In this article, we examine teachers’ and students’ use of the digital, adaptive learning material MatematikFessor,
with focus on teacher’s usage pattern and framing, use of the learning material’s feedback,
as well as students’ actions and their motivation in relation to working with the learning material. Our
database consists of six cases with observation of teaching, interviews with the teacher and interviews
and screen recordings with two students from each class. We describe how the teacher and students’
usage patterns play out, but also how we would recommend that teachers to a greater extent support
the students’ use of MatematikFessor.
