Abstract
This presentation discusses cultural processes of bildung and learning in relation to early childhood nature meetings in the Nordic countries and beyond, highlighting research addressing relations between nature pedagogies and sustainability education. It explores children’s nature experiences, relations and agency, new approaches to nature pedagogies (e.g. wild pedagogies), collaborations between research and practice on children’s nature encounters, as well as ethics and dilemmas related to children’s nature experiences.
