Abstract
This research project tries to contrast the views on autonomy found in both Immanuel Kant and K.E. Løgstrup’s philosophical work. Where Kant’s path to autonomy doesn’t seem to incorporate an interdependent aspect, Løgstrup might underestimate the true radical nature of independence. The thesis of the article is, that both Kant and Løgstrup’s thoughts in unity can tell us something about how a state of autonomy can be reached and understood in an educational context.
