Abstract

Rehabilitation is an effective non-pharmacological treatment for persons with chronic non-malignant pulmonary disease. However, studies have demonstrated various obstacles resulting in low attendance rate among the candidates, thus highlighting the need for alternative solutions. dyspnoea in people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis as summarised in this review. In addition, home-based exercise demonstrates numerical but not statistically significant improvements in quality of life and lung function.
