Abstract

The purpose of the PhD project is to contribute to the development of playful approaches to second and foreign language teaching and learning (L2TL) in teacher education and primary and lower-secondary education. Furthermore, the project seeks to investigate how a design-based research approach can support the transformation of knowledge on play in L2TL between the domains of educational research and educational practice in teacher education and primary and lower-secondary education.
