Abstract
The project “Interdisciplinary professional communities in an innovative and entrepreneurial greenhouse” is about targeting education in innovation and entrepreneurship to students’ own business initiatives. The project is based upon the training programme Next Step, which is an ECTS-giving incubator course. The goal, through coaching, mentoring, networking, and exchange of experience, is to get more students to work in full-time self-employment after graduation and promote overall entrepreneurial understanding. The analysis clarifies several points in relation to how Next Step’s demands for enterprising, independent, and entrepreneurial behaviour can be supported through a concrete didactic choice. The study also identifies the practical challenges associated with the development of an entrepreneurial learning environment.
