Abstract

The recent years digitalization has been considered the tool to implement changes to construction industry. The concept “Social Building Information Modelling” entails the creative and innovative power to change the way information is shared, as well as promoting new forms of collaboration and co-created processes. Social BIM emphasizes—inter-organizational collaboration—the integrated project teams and collaborative ways of working. Despite welldocumented potential, digitized technologies and new methods of working have still been considered difficult to implement in the industry.
