Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explore the supply chain integration (SCI) of industries in which recurrent Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) projects are set to play an important role in the long term. The empirical basis of the paper is based on interviews with key players in the offshore wind industry (OWI), which is considered by the authors as a nascent industry that will be dominated by EPC contractors in the future. The findings show that information sharing and collaboration level are important dimensions to be studied in further stages of research regarding SCI in EPC projects.
