Abstract

This chapter introduces and discuss a form of outdoor education called 'udeskole', a Scandinavian concept. As Ministry of Education Republic of China promotes outdoor education in middle and elementary schools, this description contributes to the range of possible ways to integrate outdoor education in everyday schooling. The chapter gives an overview of the current state of knowledge about practise and development of udeskole, targeted for an international audience.
