Abstract
The aim of psychoanalysis is not to understand. It is to cause change. Maybe this simple radicality contains a perspective for broader cultural and political interventions? In this program, we begin with Freud's approach to the interpretation of dreams and to the unconscious, before we try to understand why Jacques Lacan was so opposed to understanding. We speak English, because we are accompanied by none other than Mladen Dolar.
