Abstract

This Chapter and the next Chapter #4 are based on some papers and the book on Qualitative Economics(Coxmoor 2008) and The Next Economics (Elsevier Press, 2013). From these books and papers that Clark did over the last decade, energyand sustainabilitywere the primary focus areas. A few issuesare worth presenting in the context of the development of the energy “market” and restructuringor creating firms in this sector. The ENRONcase actually “taught” the world why neo-classical economicswas not correct. And the world learned more about economicsand the market being important if you “know” the right people. That is, close friendships with the powerful others can be useful for political influence and control.
