Abstract
As part of the RESIST project VIA develops XR simulations and applications to enhance resilience in the face of climate change by fostering sustainable resource management and increasing public awareness of environmental challenges. One of the core goals of the RESIST project is to bridge the gap between scientific data and public understanding, empowering communities to engage with and act on environmental issues and thus become more resilient. To support this mission, a number of extended reality (XR) simulations have been developed i two phases. This scientific report concerns the first phase of the XR simulation deliverable which involves 1) the visualization of IoT logger data results for ground water levels, as well as of the dynamics and interactions between sea water and ground water at the coastal town of Juelsminde, Denmark, and 2) the visualization of Nature Based Solutions (NBS) in the selected urban location of Smedegade in Horsens city, Denmark.
